I'm looking through the laptops on sale currently and would like to know which ones would be able to handle some mid tier gaming, such as Fallout 3, etc. My budget is the 400-800 dollar range. I was looking at this, but I'm really not sure what machine would meet my needs. Looking for a decent battery life, good portability that runs movies and music great.
Any opinions?

Its actually a decent computer just for fallout 3. But if you're planning to play New Vegas, I suggest you to go extra mile and start looking for better processor as well as gfx. Since your budget is around $700-$800 why not invest on something that will be reliable for you on a long run. I've had a bad experience with hp laptops before because of the heating and fan issues that's why I had to sell it after a year. I would recommend intel processors w/ at least nvidia gfx
