I can't play spore on my computer and it's loaded on the computer. Whats wrong with computer?

What happens when you try to play Spore? Do you get an error message? What is it, specifically? Does the screen turn black? Does the computer crash? We'll need more information to determine the cause of your specific problem.

One of the most likely causes of a game not working is that the computer system is too old or not powerful enough to run the game. You can check to see if your computer meets Spore's minimum requirements by visiting the System Requirements Lab website and running the test for Spore.

To add to what Tanarus said, the most likely scenario is that the problem comes from your video card. If you need help buying a new one, please register on the forum and we'll do our best to help you.

Your video card has to be up to snuff in more ways than one.  I'm surprised because my 2.5 year old laptop can play spore on minimum settings (crashes occasionally).  Even if the rest of your hardware specs are adequate, the video card will determine whether you can play the game.

i have the new Dell, the one in the lollipop advert, and im having the same problem. spore has gone onto my comp but no where is there an option to play spore, if i click run or install spore nothing happens.. please dont tell me i have to get anything, i paid enough for this comp, its barley out the box and my old comp can play spore fine, bar a few crashes.
