I have been told that S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat for PC has been released in the US as of the 3rd of February but Future Shop doesn't list it as a game to buy.

Anyone know when  the game will be available to purchase in store or online at FS in Canada?

Unfortunately, according to the publisher of the game, it looks like S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat will have a delayed Canadian release date. This is what the Publisher had to say:

"Sorry for any inconvenience at this time, our manufacturering and distribution partners had difficulties supplying the US markets let alone Canada so a decision was made to push back the Canadian release to some time in march."

If you're really interested in the game, you may very well be able to purchase it through the popular STEAM platform.

The Steam thing is not my cup of tea but good to know if I can't get it anywhere else.

No problem! To be honest, I don't care for STEAM much either, but it's an option should you run out of other options Hopefully the manufacturers get their distribution sorted out soon so we can see the game up here!
