Hi everyone,
In an effort to keep all information together, I've merged all threads concerning the Starcraft 2 preorders and beta keys into one master thread.
We're aware of the issue and are looking into it. We will keep you informed as we get more information.

Hi,
The deal says that after 1 business day I would receive a beta key for starcraft. I ordered on Friday, so being Monday it should have been a business day but I have not received a beta key. When I called it, it was of no help.

I'm in the same situation. Order was processed early Friday morning and still nothing as of yet. It'll be the third time I call customer support so I decided to post on the forums.
Is there any status on the key distribution? Did anyone who pre-ordered get their beta key yet?

If you pre-ordered on Friday, the beta key will come this week in your e-mail inbox. Other sites say to wait up to 5 days, so this isn't uncommon. It's most likely Future Shop has to ask Blizzard for Starcraft 2 beta keys, so it's not an automatic process.
Be patient! Starcraft 2 will come out this year, even if Blizzard has to sacrifice sleep and free time.

From what customer service told me, it is an automated process (which seems to be incorrect). Today I was told they had a memo notifying them about the special offer and an update indicating the keys were being sent out today. My question is; why hand out false information and give us the run around. If it's delayed, we should be e-mailed with a proper explanation and an accurate ETA.
This has nothing to do with patience for a game to be released. They wrote 1 business day, they should deliver on what they state.
