For gaming, it's the graphics hardware that will impact your performance more than anything else. The Gateway you looked at there has the best graphics card by a large margin, so I would recommend that out of those choices. It's also the best graphics hardware you will probably find in that price range. As for the rest of the specs in it, they're definitely 'good enough' at that price.

Or even no game at all on the battery, most laptops were not built to handle gaming on the battery. You might get horrible gaming performance from the battery and have no problem whatsoever while using the power cord!
Besides, that computer is a really good deal!
