pc gaming help

what is a good laptop that will let me run SC2. not on the highest settinfs (average gamer) but would like to use the laptop for music, we broswing etc. what is that best choice i have been so confused the past few months trying to find one. i want one that is affortable but doesnt chince out, and allows me to do what i want. some  help is appreciated

I consider myself an average gamer and I bought a Toshiba Qosmio for about $1100. For an average gamer or someone thats going play something with somewhat decent graphics, I'd suggest a laptop that offers a standalone graphics card (not those integrated ones). As for RAM, I'd aim at the bare minimum of 2GB but would recommend 4 or 6GB. Mine has 6GB and its own graphics card. Like rbridgeman asked, what is your budget?

 

Keep in mind too that yo can buy laptops with standalone cards with little RAM, you can always upgrade to more RAM. On that note, consider the cost of upgrading as opposed to buying the next level up...might surprise you. Factor it out.

Dell gaming netbook, ... use the specs and compare prices with similar spec and choose the cheapest one.

If your budget is over $1500 I would look at the AlienWare laptops they are really good.
