When I was at the Edmonton Northgate store today, the sales associate for gaming told me that the collectors edition wasn't even in their system and that usually means that they won't be getting it at all. Of course she didn't check on the computer, and the store had just opened so it wasn't like a lot of people had been thru there already for her to know the answer without looking it up, so who knows if it's true or not.
In regards to online orders, someone I know that lives in Ontario got his copies from both Future Shop and the other Canadian retailer today. When I asked him when they shipped he told me that they had shipped them to him yesterday. As of the time of me posting this I still haven't received my shipping notice from either store.
The strange thing of it all is that I pre-ordered from both stores websites before he did by maybe an hour or so. An hour shouldn't make that big of a difference so that leaves me with the assumption that maybe the warehouses for both stores for Western Canada don't have them yet to ship out to online customers.
Perhaps Godwin can chime in on this thread when he sees it and let us know what the situation is for Western Canada as it seems like people in Eastern Canada are getting their copies fine.
