I have Norton Antivirus 2011 installed on my Windows 7 Computer but I have to renew it.
I bought Norton Internet Security 2012 so I have the CD to install.
My question is do I have to uninstall Antivirus 2011 before installing Internet security 2012.

The NIS2012 installer will likely uninstall your old NAV2011 software if you don't manually uninstall it beforehand. There'd be no need to run an expired version of Norton on your system as well as a new version of Norton that provides even more protection than the old system anyway.
I recommend using the Norton Removal Tool before installing your new copy of Norton -- this tool erases ALL Norton data on your system, to leave your new Norton program a fresh environment to work with.
To answer your question: You don't technically have to, but it is very strongly recommended.
