Superb, this is a great idea in anticipation for the upcoming release of the new OS (October 22).
And if anyone catches wind about an official Vista to 7 upgrade plan/discount, be sure to post that because I'm curious.

Just as Windows 95 was revolutionary, I believe Windows 7 to be the next big thing. Recieving near-universal acclaim before its even released in its full version.

I have a quick question.
I see that Future Shop is offering free upgrades to Windows 7.
I'm planning to buy a gateway laptop at a different store but has vista on it.
Can I still get a free upgrade?

With the "Free upgrade to Vista" promotion that happened when Vista was originally announced, I waited 4 months to receive the Free Vista Upgrade.
I would expect this Free upgrade promotion to follow a similar pattern
