I pre ordered the ps vita and i was wondering if the 15th is the shipping date or the 15th is the day we will get it? If it's shipping date i will just go pre order it in store and pick it up on the 15th.

It totally depends on where you live in relation to the warehouse in your region, and on when the item is actually shipped. If it is shipped on release day, you won't get it until at least the next day. If it's shipped the day before, you might get it on release day, but again, that depends on your location.

Ultimately though, it depends on the good people at Canada Post. What type of shipping did you go with?

Sorry but that doesn't answer my question at all, i am asking if future shop will be shipping the ps vita's in advance so that we get it on the 15th or else i will order it in store.

The most I've seen Future Shop ship an order in advance is the day before so that no one gets the item prior to release day, as that would be illegal.

Even if Future Shop ships it on Monday, whether you get it on release day depends on the factors I outlined above. Future Shop cannot guarantee delivery times, because they ship through a third party (Canada Post). It also depends on what typeof shipping you went with. Did you pay for express shipping or go with the free option?

i live in new brunswick and chose the free shipping option, i guess i will cancel my order and go order it in store.

If it is that important to you to have it on release day, then yes, I would recommend you do that. Going into the store on release day is the only way to guarantee you will have it in your hands that day.

Since you live in New Brunswick, it may take a day longer to ship it to your location. I suggest getting it on day 1 at the store.

Generally for new release games, we try to ship web orders on the Friday prior to the Tuesday street date. Granted, there are times when we have unforeseen circumstances that delay shipment but we try to get the new releases out to our customers on street date.
