Games I've received anywhere from 1 day prior to release (whoops) to a couple days after. I'm fairly sure it mostly depends on when the game actually arrives in their warehouse, and the number of orders they have to fill. Never had an issue with condition, steelbooks included.
Purolator will not leave it at your door, they will take it back to their closest facility and you will have to pick it up. If your order is just a game, it's basically large envelope size and they will probably leave it in your mailbox. When my steelbooks come CP they do that, but of course I live in a newer neighborhood with a locking cluster mailbox.
I'm really unsure actually what Canada Post's policies outside that are. They always leave packages from an unmentioned online bookstore just leaning on my porch, but anything else seems to wind up back at the post office for pickup.

Thanks for the information debaser. I am the same way. However, my set of clustered mailboxes actually have another slot where you can put packages in and they will put a key in your mailbox so that you can open it.
My concern is that I don't have a mailbox at my house... Therefore, they can't put it in the mailbox, even the cluster ones either because you need a key.
I appreciate all this; however, it would be nice to get some reliable, company information on this specific situation.
Either way, keep the information coming, greatly appreciated.

I'm in the GTA and get pre-orders from Purolator.
I have those cluster mailboxes as well, and games (even 3-4 games) always fit in the larger compartments. If they don't fit, they are almost always delivered to the nearest post office where I have to pick them up.

Purolator office if it comes by purolator, local post office if it comes by Canada Post. You will be able to see the shipper on your order history once its shipped.

Opps. JS can you remove my empty post. I hit the wrong button.
BTW: All is good. I appreciate all the answers.
For me personally. It came from Canada Post (Edmonton).
Cheers!
