I think both of you are missing the point.

 

I don't think it says anywhere that Future Shop guarantees delivery for any particular day.  That is totally dependant on the manufacturer's release date and the shipping option you choose (as well as 3rd party delays such as Canada Post, Purolator, etc).

 

Future Shop will give you an estimated arrival, but it is in no ways guaranteed.

 

Ordering the 'early bundle' means that you get some exclusives that you might not otherwise get on the 'regular release bundle'.

 

If you *received* your orders previously on the release date, that is your good fortune.  There was never any commitment to have it in your hands on that day.

My purpose for ordering the 'early bundle' was to get it early. I don't really care that much about the extras involved in the bundle. Otherwise I wouldn't have pre-ordered it.

 

The FutureShop website says that they have the bundle in-stock at my local store, so why should I have to wait a week to get it?
