We bought a PS3 for Christamas(uncharted3 bundle). When we play Uncharted the picture and sound stutters.  It makes the game unplayable. It does this with both uncarted and uncharted3. The machine plays blurays fine. It also takes a very long time to load the game as well. Is it the machine or just a setting or restore needed. Here is what is happening but is not our machine just found this on youtube.

First of all, make sure your ps3 system is updated to the latest firmware, and then update your games as well, if it's required during game start up. If problem still remains and it's happening to more than one of your games, it's best for you to go in-store and do an exchange before your 30days return/exchange option expires (your original receipt is required).

Wow, that looks bad.  I have never seen that before.

As the other poster said, make sure you have upgraded all of the firmware and operating system.

This looks like a software bug.  If you have a friend with a PS3, test out your disc on their system and test their discs on your system.

If you don't have a friend, bring your discs into Future Shop and ask to try it out on their systems.

Or just bring in your PS3 and receipt into Future Shop and ask for an exchange because that is not supposed to happen, unless you somehow damaged it.

We got it working after calling Sony help line. We had to restore it and all is working now. Thanks
