Planning on trading in..

I'm planning on trading in a few wii games (brawl, mariokart, fire emblem) and hopefully get enough to get XIII, I was wondering if it's not enough and if futureshop don't accept them for whatever reason, if I get a $20 store credit out of it, can I add cash to that to purchase XIII?

Re: Planning on trading in..

You can definitely do that!  When you trade in games, whatever the balance is of the trade-in gets put onto a gift card for you to use however you wish at FS.  Using it towards the purchase of FFXIII is perfectly acceptable.

After having looked at the list, you should be able to get FFXIII for free by simply trading in SSBB and MK, as they are in the list of acceptable trade-in games to get it on the "Trade two, Get it free" promotion for that game.

That's not to say that you can't trade in your third game for some store credit, though :smileyhappy:

Good luck!

Hmm, I see it's w/ the wheels, I have that but I don't think I still have the box for the wheel, would that be a problem?

also on the list of the wii games, for the trade in 2 for free XII, is FS only accepting those games and none other?

Re: Planning on trading in..

I imagine you could probably make a case for the box for the wheel, as long as you have the case and instructions for the software.

From the looks of things, those are the only qualifying games for the trade-in.  Chances are anything else that isn't on those lists for those systems would not be of a high enough value to qualify anyhow.

Let us know how it works out!
