Skyrim releases November 11th which is a holiday. Will I have to wait until the following Monday to receive the game? Should I just cancel the pre order and pick it up at a store? Too bad because I got it during the E3 promotion for $40, but I really want to play on day 1.

Hi bullonparade,

Buy the game on midnight release, making sure to save your receipt. You can open the game and play it. When E3 order arrives in the mail, return the sealed E3 order copy in store with your midnight release receipt.

And yes, do not forget to take time to acknowledge all the members of our armed forces.

You will be refunded in the manner you originally paid for the game (as shown by the receipt). So, if you paid in cash, you will receive a cash refund.
