The only time anything like this happens is when you get a console that is bundled with a free game or two.  Buying a video game console on its own does not give you a discount on games.

Keep your eye on the flyer as we (usually) have new gaming promotions every week! If you'd like to start enjoying your console right away, I usually recommend buying the console, on promotion or not, and you'll have 30 days Price Protection-- If we or competitor have what you bought on promotion within those 30 days, we can give you that deal! There are tons of great PS3 games now which are available for cheap -- $19.99 or less.

Check the Greatest Hits section and shop around.  There are lots of great sales going on right now.

You don't need to buy a PS3 to get the discounted games -- but of course it helps to have something to play the games on.
