- typically Blu-Ray players just need an HDMI cable to work.
- NetFlix is a video streaming service.... it does not work off a disk. Video stream is available directly on some TV's without needing a Blu-Ray player.
- Is the TV connected to your wifi or internet? Is the Blu-Ray connected to your wifi or internet?
- what is the exact model of your TV and Blu-Ray player?

If your BD player supports Netflix, you will need to connect an HDMI cable from your BD player to your TV and an ethernet cable from your service provider to your BD player.
Otherwise, if you have WiFi, you will have to set that up in your BD player. That should be it, but you should check your User's Manual to be sure.
