It depends on how many inches the screen size is.... as well as how many inches you are to the screen for viewing.
Some people will see the difference more easily than others. Visit the store and check for yourself.

Tonnes! 360 lines of resolution in fact. However, if you are only going to use it for TV, it won't make a difference. TV is broadcast at 720p/1080i at its highest resolution.
1080p is currently supported by some video games and most video game systems as well as PC's, video/still cameras and BluRay players. If you are looking to set up and integrate a full Home Theatre system, I would highly recommend 1080p.
Also, some of the 720p/1080i TV's don't have the same processing power as a 1080p and won't have as good of a picture overall.
