I am looking for a 32" t.v. ( for a senior ) What is the best one for me to buy

A couple questions for clarification:

1.  What type of lighting is in the room where the TV will be?

2.  What will the TV be used for?  DVDs, blu-rays, gaming, cable, etc.

Without this supplementary information, any recommendations will be based off of personal bias - buying a TV is a very subjective experience.
