I would caution against getting a TV with a built-in DVD player. They are generally lower quality screens and lower quality players. Combining low quality things like these together tends to make them prone to failure, and if one component fails, then you lose both your TV and your DVD player while they are being fixed. It seems convenient, but at the end of the day, it usually just becomes more of a hassle.
Just my opinion, for what it's worth

My words are my own based on my experiences and through research. There is a reason that TVs with built-in DVD and/or Blu-ray players isn't a more lucrative market. For the most part, they tend to be lower quality products or products that simply don't last as long as their separate counterparts. This is a well known with these types of products. Plus, for all their "convenience" in not taking up as much space, when something inevitably breaks down, you lose both the TV and the blu-ray player while it's being fixed. That's sometimes even more of an inconvenience.
It's not a dig at Future Shop for carrying such items, and if I offended you because I offered up my opinion, then I apologize, but I won't be changing my mind anytime soon. I would argue even a TV/blu-ray combo put out by Sony would not last nearly as long as a separate Sony TV and blu-ray player.
That's just my two pence, for what it's worth.
