Our family is thinking of buying a LCD hdtv after using a sony WEGA for like 5 years,
I was in favor of plasmas because they are somewhat cheaper at the moment compared to LCD's but my family keep insisting on LCD's and they want a samsung brand so.....
we are looking at the 46" samsung lcd tv's on the future shop site;
and
here's are some other info:
we connect a laptop to the tv to view videos, I have a 360 and a ps3 so recommendations with gaming in mind would be very helpful,
I'm also noticing the number of samsung tv's on the decline on futureshop, is samsung preparing to launch an another line up of lcd tv's or are they busy with marketing and releasing their 3dledtv lines?
Thank you for your help!
if other brands are better than samsung right now, other brand tips would be helpful!

Out of the two, I would definitely go for the 120 Hz Tv simply for the refresh rate alone. It's on sale right now (only for the next three days, so you'd better move fast if you want it for that price!), which sweetens the deal even more. It has the same number of ports on all accounts as the other one you were looking at, with a higher dynamic contrast ratio, response time and refresh rate.
This TV will be great for just about anything you throw at it.
Hope that helps!
