i think the problem is just on the 09 and now 10 models. i agree with what you are saying about panasonic in general. the reason i was going with panny is after seeing two of my buddies tvs. great picture no doubt about it. but they were both older too. it's great that your tv is still a very good picture but it's kinda like comparing a toyota from two years ago to one now.
