I am wondering if the Samsung PN51D550 Plasma 3DTV comes with 3d glasses or not. If not, then is there any way of getting the glasses with the tv since a 3DTV is useless without the glasses.
Thanks

- I was looking at a competitor's site... it doesn't appear to be bundled
- the Future Shop website lists this as an accessory.
http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/samsung-samsung-3d-battery-glasses-ssg-3500cr-za-ssg-3500cr-z ... - Google for "XPAND" for 3rd party universal glasses as another option

Is there any way in which I can get the TV bundled with the 3D Glasses? Can I for example get 2 pairs for $50 when I buy the tv.

I was just doing a Google and found a contractory news story that Samsung did make a statement that 2 glasses were bundled for TV's after April, 2011.
Sorry for the confusion, I don't work for Future Shop. I hope someone from the store clarifies this for us both. Otherwise it's a 6am trip to our local stores in the morning.

Hello. I just purchased this TV myself on Boxing day and I can give you a little help with this. Samsung did offer several promotions over the past year that offered 3D bundles with the purchase of certain tv's. Right now there is no offer, but you still can purchase the glasses seperately. Keep in mind your Bluray player must also be capable of 3D so look for something that does 3d content. Samsung has a couple of different ones.As far as using the tv as a regular tv and not as a 3d it absolutely can be done. The 3d is an optional setting that can be turned on when you want to view 3d content. I have no plans on using the 3d option on this tv when I get mine, I just know that samsung offers an exceptional quality product for a great price. Well an even better price than usual due to boxing day.Overall this is an excellent tv and an excellent value. I worked until recently in custom av sales and system setup for 8 years so I know a fair amount about the workings of these kinds of things.
