If you bought the TV as an open box item and wish to return it for a brand new item of the same model, you'll have to pay the difference between the open box item and the new price of the same item.

That only makes sense, no?

So if I am to understand your reply to my concern. If I purchased an open box item, that was $100 less than a brand new item, that $100 dollar saving essentially nullifies any obligation of Future Shop to provide me with a product that is free of defects and faulty equipment? That makes no sense whatsoever. I purchased the TV in question being assured that it was free of any defects and flaws. Well now that It is obvious that it has defects and flaws I would like a replacement unit. What is Future Shop prepared to do in order to retain my business. Otherwise I will just have the item returned for a refund and take my money to an establishment that provides products that are in proper working order.
