I just purchase a Samsung LN46C750. After doing the initial setup I found that the left hand side of the screen was extremely pixelated and was showing lots of artifacts. It was almost as if the screen was cut in half, the right side being great and the left side looking terrible. What are my options since this item has limited stock left in the store?

This sounds like a demo option. Have you tried factory reset in the menu?

Yes I have tried the factory reset via the plug ins on initial setup. To note when the TV is first turned on this effect is not visible it is only after a few minutes that the effect becomes pronounced. I have attached a photo of the issue with this screen.

Photos of my Brand New Samsung LN46C750. Obviously there is a major problem here. What exactly are my options.

Have you tried calling Samsong Support by any chance?

Yes I have and they have referred me to their local service provider. However the service provider has informed me that it may be over a week to have a tech diagnose the problem. I was curious if I can bring the set back and get a new replacement set through Future shop?

Thank you for supplying me with this information. The only question I have is can I return this item, which was an open box item, and exchange it for a new item without incurring any additional charges? Or will I be expected to make up the difference in price? The inconvenience of this issue I would hope would warrant Future Shop attempting to make me an even swap in order to guarantee my customer satisfaction. Would it not?
