I have a 46" Sharp Aquos TV that I purchased about 2 years ago. I just purchased a blu-ray player and trying to hook it up with the HDMI on input 4 (on the side of the TV) as the other two HDMI inputs are in use (cable box and Xbox). When I hooked it up, there was no picture on the TV (sound is seperate). When i tried to move the cable to on of the other HDMI inputs, then it worked fine. I then tried to hook up the HDMI cable for the Xbox to input 4 and it wouldn't show a picture on this input as well. Therefore, I have determined that it is the input on the TV that is having a problem. I use to have the r/w/g cables in this input for my old Wii system and that worked fine (about a year ago was the last time it was used). Is there a setting that I need to change somehow on the TV to reconize that I am now wanting to use the HDMI input on this one instead of the cables?
Thanks for any help in advance!

Hey, any luck with this? I bought a 42" Sharp Aquos about 3 years ago and I just noticed now that my input 4 hdmi isn't working either (since I never had to use 2 hdmi cables at the same time). Input hdmi 5 works fine with xbox 360 and my PC, but not on #4...Is it a defective input port or is it a settings issue?

It is a defective input port.
