I bought a VGA to HDMI cable from Hong Kong. I know VGA is analog, HDMI is digital. Is there any way to output from my laptop's VGA to the TV HDMI input using this cable?

Depnds on the TV. Check the specs on you particular set to see if the TV will accept the signal. Keep in mind, that the picture may not look very good.

What about the VGA signal? Can it reach the TV set through the HDMI, at the other cable end without any conversion? Theorethical the signal coming out of the HDMI end is digital. How did it become digital without any conversion from the other analog end? My TV set accepts HDMI signal, I have my desktop computer connected already(HDMI to HDMI)
