Is the 62 inches the height or the base?  If that is the height, you should be perfectly fine with a 60 inch TV.

I guess it depends on what type of TV you are getting. Different types have varying levels of heat production.

Not only that, but even with a 60" TV, there will be plenty of room left in the cabinet given that the hypotnuse is 60".  The height will be a little more than half the screen size with the stand.  For example, this Sharp Aquos 60 inch TV has a height of 95.5cm with the stand, which comes out to about 38 inches.  Even with that, the OP has 62 inches to work with.  Plenty of space for heat distribution if you ask me
