I know this post is a couple weeks old already but I'd be interested in knowing this as well. I, too, see that various retailers in the US have had supplies of these TVs showing up for about a month already.
I guess my first question should really be whether Future Shop is planning on carrying any of the D8000 lineup. If you are, then when might we be able to see them hitting store shelves?
On a side note, I know of only 2 other places in Canada that are currently advertising they have the D8000's available for sale... so it appears stock of these TVs is only very slowly trickling into Canada.
