I want to set up wireless headphones to my LG 47LE5300 so that I can listen to the TV while someone else can listen on the headphones. If I use the headphone jack the sound on the TV is disabled. I don't see any audio out other than an optical digital audio out. Is there a set of wireless headphones that will work off that output and allow me to hear the TV speakers while the headphones are hooked up and turned on?
If you are using a digital cable box or satellite, you can connect the wireless headphones to the audio output on either of the aforementioned boxes, with out affecting the sound from the TV.
Connecting to the TV headphone jack will always bypass the TV's speakers, as you have discovered.
