i dont want to spend over $2000

so i narrowed it down to these 2 50' lcds.  now i heard alot of good things about Aquos a few years back, but how is it now?

and i heard alot off good news about the Samsung Brand, not not about this series of tv

what would be the better buy?

how bout a plasma in the same price range?

what is the maintenance on lcds, compared to Plasmas? cause i had a rear projection lcd, and i have to replace the Bulb every year = $300+, have extened warrenty, but they said its not covered.

that is sad , my freind also has that problem with his.

I have had my 61 inch rear lcd for 4 years not one problem with it.

Both are good...no question...but I'd go for the Samsung.

I'd consider the Sharp if it's the only one of the two offering 120hz, which is important for future 3D gaming.

Both are nice sets, you're better off looking at both and deciding from there...if they both look the same then go for the cheaper one.

I HAVE A SAMSUNG LCD AND WHEN I HAD A PROBLEM I CALLED THEM FOR HELP AND THEY SUCK... NO HELP ....LEFT ME HANGIN ...AT LEAST MY OTHER LCD WHICH IS A SONY WAS THERE TO HELP THEIR CUSTOMERS...SO WILL NOT ,WOULD NOT EVER AND I MEAN EVER BUY A SAMSUNG  AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!     SO THATS MY INPUT ON BUYING LCD TV'S    BUT I HOPE OTHERS HAVE A BETTER EXPERIENCE THAN I DID....THEY LOST A VERY GOOD CUSTOMER
