Yeah, I'm a blogger. I am, in fact, a professional blogger. This means, in short, that I get paid to blog. I was of the first group of professional bloggers in the world, and one of the first in Canada itself. While this is all well and good, but what about blogging for good well that's exactly what a bunch of my friends are doing this weekend. In fact, bloggers around the world are doing it this weekend.
This weekend is Blogathon 2009.
For 24 hours starting at 6 AM Saturday local time until 6 AM Sunday local time, bloggers will post every 30 minutes raising money for charity.
Here in Vancouver the event is taking place at Workspace down in Gastown and while I'm not participating per se, I will be there to support my friends and record the event. I'll also take inspiration from the energy to work on my book.

There are also some late-breaking bloggers like Catherine Winters so keep your eyes and RSS readers peeled for other Blogathon folks in your area.
