Don't Miss The Beat: Rhythm Heaven Fever Released This Week
Here's probably all you need to know: Rhythm Heaven Fever for Nintendo Wii is out now, it costs $29.99, and you should buy it.
Look! Here's a link to buy it online at Future Shop and everything. What more could you want?
What's that? Information about the game? Some stuff about why you should buy it? OK then! Why not take a look at this trailer then.
Now doesn't that look delightful? Rhythm Heaven Fever is the latest in the Rhythm Heaven series, which began on the GBA with the Japan-only Rhythm Tengoku (the last game, actually, developed by Nintendo for that system), continued with Rhythm Heaven on Nintendo DS, and now here we are with Rhythm Heaven Fever. The series is as you see above: keep the rhythm! As Nintendo explain it, "each minigame tasks players to tap buttons on the Wii Remote in time to catchy musical themes while completing a variety of quirky tasks."
There are over fifty mini games in this version, which include everything from playing golf with a monkey, swinging a samurai sword or building robots on an assembly line (and, in fact, in a personal favourite, interviewing a Mexican wrestler.)
Plus, in what is a first for the series, unlockable mini-games allow for two players to play at the same time.
"If you've ever tapped your feet to the beat of your favourite song, you've already got what it takes to play Rhythm Heaven Fever," said Ron Bertram, Nintendo of Canada’s vice-president and general manager. "What makes the experience really unique is the wild mix of in-game activities coupled with the catchy music that appeals to a wide variety of players."
Anyway. The most important thing to know is: it's a mere $29.99 (a bargain) and your Wii has definitely been gathering dust. So take the old girl out for a spin again with Rhythm Heaven Fever!
