It's hard to imagine the Essential Accessories series is finally coming to an end. It’s been a really fun column to piece together and I hope that anyone who followed along took away something from the series.
It can be a little overwhelming trying to figure out which accessories to buy and which to skip. I remember feeling that way growing up and making some pretty unfortunate mistakes in the process. I sincerely hope that my picks gave you a little more insight on the various accessories available for each console and handheld.
Wrapping up the series are essential accessories for the popular 3D handheld, Nintendo 3DS. This innovative handheld may have launched with a slow start, but it has since proved itself to be one of today’s most promising devices. I’m particularly excited for the lineup later this year, which will include games like New Super Mario Bros. 2, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, Paper Mario: Sticker Star and Castlevania: Lord of Shadow – Mirror of Fate.
