Looking for an engaging, new adventure on the Microsoft Kinect? Check out Lionhead Studios recently released Fable: The Journey. This new instalment in the popular Fable series is unlike anything you've seen before, combining all the humor of the series in a new, motion-control gameplay experience.
Their first step at Kinect-enhanced immersion looks to be a promising one with its intriguing story and intense combat. Prepare for quite the adventure with this new release. My one gripe at this point is that the game is on-rails so exploration won't be quite as free-flowing as many of us might have imagined. That said, it still exists, it's just not quite what you might expect from the series.
Even so, it still looks like an adventure worth taking. This is a big risk for Lionhead, but it's got some huge gains for both the developer and the peripheral. The fact that it can potentially lead to much bigger and better motion-control games in the future is one exciting proposition, and something I'm eagerly looking forward to.
