Fan Expo Canada Showcased Hot Upcoming Game Titles (Photos!)
This year I once again had the privilege of attending Fan Expo Canada, which celebrated its 18th year as the biggest gaming, comic, sci-fi, anime and horror event in the country, and one of the largest in the world.
Over 90,000 enthusiasts descended upon the massive Metro Toronto Convention Centre for the four-day event, which ran from August 23-26. That attendance figure was an increase of over 10,000 from last year, setting a new record for Fan Expo Canada. The floor space, which measured at a record 400,000 square footage, was home to over 700 retailers and exhibitors, including major entertainment companies such as Sony, Microsoft, Alliance Films, Warner Bros., Ubisoft, G4, DC Entertainment and more.
Being the gaming editor here on the Tech Blog, naturally I was drawn to the gaming expo portion of the Fan Expo Canada, which featured many hot upcoming gaming titles such as Halo 4, Assassin's Creed III and PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. These games and more were playable on the show floor, giving fans a chance for some hands-on time before the release dates.

All in all, another fantastic year for Fan Expo Canada --especially for gamers. It seems with each subsequent year the gaming portion of the show is getting larger and better, and after experiencing the 2012 show it's really starting to feel like a "mini PAX". Let's hope the gaming expo gets even bigger next year!
