School isn't officially over for all of Canada, but here's an exciting back-to-school 2011 offer for students available next Friday thanks to Future Shop and Microsoft: get a free Xbox 360 4GB console (worth $199.99!) with the purchase of select HP laptops priced at $599 and above.

It's pretty simple how it works: On Friday May 27, 2011, Future Shop will post online at www.futureshop.ca the HP laptops which qualify for students to receive the free Xbox 360 4GB console. Students must provide valid student ID in their local Future Shop proving their in-school status. (I'll share more program details next week.)

Students can't study all the time and gaming is an awesome way to take a break and work on hand-eye coordination.

Figures - I buy a new HP laptop about three weeks before this promotion becomes available   Oh well, at least I've still got my Super Elite.
