Imagine having your own personal bartender, making sure that you have the best cocktails at any given time. Oh yah, don’t we all want to try and live that extravagant lifestyle of a celebrity - yah or nah?
I love a good cocktail. For many, it’s very much needed after a stressful day at work. However, I’m not motivated to make it myself. So, wouldn’t it be cool to have a bartender available 24/7? There’s a simple solution. Enter: The Inebriator, a home built robot bartender powered by an Arduine Micro. This would definitely be perfect for your next party. (It’ll also act as a great conversation starter.)
How Does The Inebriator works?
Bottles of you favorite vodka, gin, rum (or whatever) is lined-up upside-down, ready to be dispensed. Cocktails lovers can place a glass on a movable base, then select the cocktails of desire. The base then moves along grabbing the right ingredient to make that beverage. To add to the mixer, the Inebriator is connected to nitrogen-pressurized tubes, which is located in a cooler that is not visible as it’s all placed in the back of the machine. Plus, there is fun use of LED lights as the robot bartender is serving you a drink. To see The Inebriator in action, check out the video below.
How to Make The Inebriator?
The project is meant for programmers who have a little extra playtime. So, if you have any programmer friends, I suggest treating them to a fancy dinner and invite them over to your house on a Sunday afternoon to build this device (while serving lots of beer). According to Digital Trends, this project relies on a tiny Arduino board, which is an inexpensive processor similar to a Raspberry Pi. Plus, requires a Hitachi HD44780 compatible display, a stepper motor, RFID sensor, and LED lights.
The creators of The Inebriator got a lot of feedback and popularity from a recent Reddit forum. So, the inventers are currently looking into making a 2.0 version from all the recommendations received.

Make better drinks this summer with the Margaritaville Bahamas frozen concoction maker. Simply put ice in one container and your ingredients in the other, and the Margaritaville Bahamas does the rest of the work for you. It's capable of creating a full pitcher of frozen beverages, and lets you choose between 'shave' and 'blend'.
