Gizmodo's Best Apps Lists--Oh man the goodies

2011-01-31_22-50-34.pngOh leave it to Gizmodo to help drain my bank account some more with my app addiction. Their list of the top iPhone, iPad, and Android apps is ... wow. Okay, truth be told I already have a lot of the apps, but that shouldn't stop you from checking a few out!

Granted I can't speak for the coolness of the Android apps, but the iPhone and iPad ones are winners. I don't have all them and I think on the iPhone that Camera+ might be more useful to people than Camera Bag, however I really like the selections. Okay, fine, I give Angry Birds HD (the iPad version) should be on the iPad list ...

Anyway I love new apps. My wife has purloined my iPad on occasion to download knitting magazines and is now counting stitches on her iPhone. Instead of going into all the app choices, that's rather boring I think, how about this instead...

What kind of apps are you into right now?

Me, it's all about reading and photography. Heck I even caved (while it was on sale) and bought the 8mm Vintage Camera app to record cheesy videos (I have plans for this one). Sure I love my various writing apps, but I think I have enough of them for now. Okay, I still keep an eye out for good apps to take notes with ... but I digress.

What's types of apps are on your hotlist now?

With a world rank of 478, I would say yes :smileyhappy:

There are 477 sites before and plenty of sites after that I would rather read before I read that tabloid junk.

That's your opinion, thanks for voicing it

And that's yours, thanks for voicing it too!

Actually, go take a look at traffic rankings for Gizmodo over the past few years. Notice a massive drop? I guess I'm not alone in thinking that their lack of ethics and shoddy writing standards make things a whole lot less appealing than a few years ago.
