HP iPrint Photo

hpiprintphoto.gifThe iPhone is the fastest growing camera on the web.  Whether it be videos uploaded to YouTube or photos on Flickr, we're using our iPhone to capture memories and images in an instant to share them with the world.

Sure, it's not the best camera for taking video and photos, but as any shutterbug will answer "the camera you have on you," when asked "Which camera is the best?"

hpiprintphoto2.jpgNow while uploading photos and video to the internet is a great way to share your work, there really is no substitute for a physical image.  HP has a great new app for the iPhone that makes printing your pics easy without any wires, set up or anything.

HP iPrint Photo is a free app in the iTunes store.  Simply fire it up and your photo library will appear.  Choose the photo you want to print and the image will be sent wirelessly to an HP printer on your network. (I grabbed the screen shot from a web cafe, but when I tested it at home, my HP printer showed up to be selected).

You need to have wireless enabled on your iPhone or iPod Touch to print.  For a list of all the compatible HP printers, check out the app page.

That's really all there is to it, it's a dead easy way to instantly print 4x6 photos from your iPhone or iPod Touch without the mess of syncing, downloading and wiring up your phone or iPod.

catch the buzz ... pass it on.
