As we get ready for this holiday season, it’s time to start thinking about what to get our loved ones, and laptops are often one of the most desired gifts. And if you’re looking for a good all-around laptop, check out the Toshiba L755 DS Core i3 laptops. Available in silver, red or brown, there is a colour option for nearly everyone. And with a 15.6” LED backlit screen, a large hard drive, 6GB of RAM, a Core i3 processor and a full keyboard, it is great for students and for media buffs.
Power Anyone?
This laptop might not have the extra bump in performance that the new Core i5 processors offer, but the Core i3-2310m processor paired with 6GB of RAM provides plenty of power under the hood and should be enough to keep all but the hard core computer buffs happy.
Media Buffs
The 15.6" screen is more than big enough for most people to watch movies, stream Youtube videos, and edit your favorite photos. Another benefit is that with up to 5.5 hours of battery life, there will be no concern about the battery lasting for the duration of class!
General Home Use
Don't worry, this laptop isn't just for your media buffs and students. It will work well for nearly all home computing needs. And with Wireless N capabilities, you can go further, meaning that you should have no problems connecting wirelessly in your house even if you're upstairs and your router is downstairs!
Casual Gamer
With the Mobile Intel HD Graphics, you can play more games and have more fun than you ever could with an integrated graphics card. So the media buffs, students and general home users can all enjoy casual gaming with this laptop. But be cautious... If you have a gamer in the family, be aware that the Mobile Intel HD Graphics likely won't be enough to satisfy their needs. For them, take some time and be prepared to invest in a more expensive laptop with a good dedicated graphics card. Like that, you'll be sure to keep them happy!
Final Thoughts
Again, if you're looking for a good all around computer for that special someone, or for yourself, feel free to check out the Toshiba L755 laptops. I wouldn't recommend them for your gamer crowd, but they are perfect for just about anyone else. And with the new Core i3 processors and 6GB of RAM, that special someone will have the latest and greatest, meaning they won't be staring longingly at the other laptops the day after you give it to them!
