One of the first editors I've ever met while beginning my corporate communications career in Canada was the talented and always stylish, Janette Ewen. At the time, she was writing and editing magazines in Toronto and I was a humble intern working a global PR firm. While partnering with her on a variety of initiatives, it was no surprise to see her talents blossom onto national television as a regular decor expert on Cityline then a co-host with Ty Pennington on a show called Inside the Box.
To this day, Janette and I keep in touch and continue working together. During her recent visit to Vancouver, we reviewed some of the latest, new and stylish small appliances at Future Shop, and they were broadcast live yesterday morning on Citytv's Breakfast Television.
