Today is a big day for all the soccer game lovers out there. FIFA Soccer 13 is now finally available. The demo, released on the eleventh of September, was downloaded a record 1.99 million times in it’s first three days so you can be sure that the release of the full game is going to be pretty popular.
This game features 31 of the world’s top soccer leagues. New from FIFA Soccer 12 are the Saudi Professional League and the MLS All-Stars. All the other big world leagues are there too, even including the Adidas All Star Team and Major League Soccer (Which, of course, includes the Toronto Football Club!) You can even play with 46 different international teams including new additions; Bolivia, Czech Republic, India, PAraguay, and Venezuela. The game now even lets you take them into international tournaments (including qualification rounds) in Career mode.
If we keep looking at the sheer numbers for this game, we can count up 69 different stadiums in FIFA Soccer 13. New inclusions are White Hart Lane (The home of the Tottenham Hotspur
Football Club) and Saudi Arabia’s King Fahd International Stadium. Sadly Barcelona Football Club’s Camp Nou was cut from the game due to licensing. Canadian locations include BC Place, home of the Vancouver Whitecaps.
The soundtrack has always been one of my favourite elements of the FIFA franchise, since they tend to collect a great international assortment of music. This year’s installment features deadmau5, Kasabian, Metric, Bloc Party, Band of Horses, Santigold and even Flo Rida.
This has already received a tonne of ‘best of’ awards from this year’s E3 show and promises to be something that no sports fan will want to miss out on. It's out on virtually every game platform. It even features support for PlayStation Move and Xbox Kinect. If you’re any kind of a sports fan, you owe it to yourself to check it out.
The next generation of FIFA Soccer has arrived for Wii U in the shape of FIFA 13. Offering a stunning and deep soccer simulation, FIFA 13 promises the most engrossing soccer experience ever with five game-changing innovations and a host of Wii U-exclusive features. You don't have to be Lionel Messi to play the beautiful game, you just need a copy of FIFA 13.
FIFA Soccer 13 captures all the drama and unpredictability of the real-world game. The game creates a true battle for possession across the entire pitch, delivers freedom and creativity in attack, and connects fans to the heartbeat of the sport - and to each other - through EA SPORTS Football Club.
