If you’re a regular visitor of Futureshop.ca as I am, you may have noticed a massive assortment of brand-name luggage pieces offered for sale online. No need to blink twice, the assortment and sale offers you’re seeing are true. Three-pieces, one-piece, wheeled, garment, duffle, leather briefcases, and more are available for purchase.

Why is Future Shop is getting into the luggage game? Well, why not? After all, you need quality luggage pieces to carry around clothes and technology. Just ask fellow bloggers who attended CES 2012 with me, Buzz, Ted and Mike. Plus, as evidenced by the present launch sale, the prices are hot.

More importantly, selling online offers ‘endless aisles’ of merchandise. There are no limitations like a store’s footprint of what can be displayed and offered for sale.

Also, buying online is easy. You can transact using your smartphone, tablet or computer from either Future Shop’s mobile-optimized (“m”) site, or through the Future Shop App for Apple devices. And, free shipping is applied for orders $20 or above (- excludes special delivery items, like major appliances and TVs greater than 43” in screen size).

Fly away with the hot luggage deals here. If American Tourister and Samsonite are your preferences for luggage, receive 25 per cent off all models Futureshop.ca carries by typing in the promo code “FSLUGGAGE” at the check out screen. But act quick as this deal ends on February 9, 2012.

More than a dozen other trusted luggage brands are available at Futureshop.ca, such as: Air Canada, Bugatti, Ecko, Gino Ferrari, Roots, Swissgear and Westjet.

I was just looking at your travel accessories.

A few things I recommend you consider carrying....

  • a luggage scale.  Airlines have significant luggage surcharges, travellers should always pre-weigh their luggage to avoid airport surprises.  Much less stressful knowing that you won't be hit with a surcharge.
  • travel adapters.... how do you expect us to enjoy our electronic creature comforts if we don't have the right plug?
  • universal power bars.... there's never enough outlets in my hotel.  I hate waking up in the middle of the night to unplug one charger for another.

Global TV did a story this morning on how to pack... (there's a brief ad before the video)
