New products road trip with Griffin Technology (CES 2010)
At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas this weekend, Jackie Ballinger, Director of Public Relations of Griffin Technology, took me on a “road trip” to check out some of their latest gadgets that make driving enjoyable, convenient and safe. Check out the following three new products Griffin showcased at this year's CES - just a small sample among many others on display:
1. Powerjolt Plus Mobile – an in-car charging device that features a captive mini/micro-USB adapter plus another 12 volt accessory socket, built right in and ready to charge another phone, GPS, in-car video, etc.
2. Tuneflex Aux – Designed for Iphone or Ipod users who wants an easy way to hold the device as well as play pre-loaded music or radio. It also has an illuminated plug that shows power status and has a lighted dock connector to help locate it in the dark.
I appreciated discovering that Griffin engineered the design of the Tuneflex Aux based on customer feedback. Customers stated they wanted a better way to dock their Iphone/Ipod in the accessory, and Griffen responded by incorporating a knob in the design to move the support mechanism forwards or backwards.
3. Hands-free Microphone with auxiliary cable – A wonderful two-in-one cable that allows you to listen to music while driving or answer your phone safely to talk hands-free. To utilize the hands-free mic, simply plug one end into your car auxiliary outlet, and the other into your phone to play music. When a call comes in, the user simply presses a button to pause the tunes and receives the call.
