While talking with Sigma about their new cameras, I also had the chance to see the new lenses announced by Sigma at this year's PMA.
The lenses are: 70-200mm f2.8 now with OS (optical stabilization), 50-500mm f4-6.3 also now with OS, 17-50mm f2.8 with one extra milimeter and added OS, a brand new 8-16mm f4.5-5.6, and also brand new the 85mm f1.4 lens.

You could almost say that the new lenses represent a change in Sigma's paradigm towards lens manufacturing. Previously Sigma has been producing niche lenses, filling out gaps left behind by the larger lens manufacturers. Not so anymore. Canon and Nikon, look out.
