The TL500 is Samsung's first compact camera aimed at the serious photo enthusiast. The camera sports a 3x optical zoom from 24-72mm (in 35mm equivalent terms). Very bright lens with minimum aperture from f1.8 (24mm) to f2.4 (72mm).
