I'm a huge fan of carrying a spare battery for mobile devices, especially for my iPhone. Seems like everywhere I go people ask me: "hey, what's that clunky white thing on your phone?," and I proudly pronounce "it's my mophie Juice Pack, an extra charge for my phone." Ever since my first Consumer Electronics Show a few years ago, I quickly realized the value of products like mophie when you're active Tweeting, checking in, texting, sharing almost real-time photos and more, to help get through a busy, social day.
Until recently, there have only been a handful of manufacturers in the mobile charging game. I got my hands on the latest player in this space, ProLine. They have a number of affordable charging devices available, and I've been toying around with both the ProLine Super Slim Power Case for iPhone 4S/4 and their Universal Portable Power Banks for my other devices. Here's what I found:
ProLine Super Slim Power Case for iPhone 4S/4
ProLine's Super Slim Power Case is indeed slim and not as bulky as some other charging cases on the market. Additionally, the design is smooth and hugs the phone with the black, rubberized base where the phone inserts and your choice of three bumper colours: red or silver (bundled in one pack), or black.
Using this case is easy. To charge the case to 1,500 mAh (more than enough to refuel your iPhone 4), simply plug the Micro USB cable into a computer, or USB-enabled power plug. The bumpers are easy to remove and put on so if you feel like one colour over another on any given day, you have that freedom.
The 'two second rule' applies with turning the charger on or off. To operate the charge or turn off, simply press the power button for two seconds. If you're curious on how much battery is on the Power Case, pressing the power button once will show you the level of charge available through a blue light indicator strip.
ProLine Universal Portable Power Bank
ProLine's Universal Portable Power Banks also earn top marks for charging any mobile device. There are a few sizes available today, including a single charging 5,000 mAh capacity Bank and a dual-charging capabile 6,600 mAh model. Both are awesome for charging any type of device that comes with a USB or Micro USB cable.

Overall, the "pro" in ProLine is well deserved. E.g., the ProLine Super Slim Case for iPhone 4S/4 retails for $39.99, half the price of a competitor.
It's encouraging seeing the selection in portable charging growing, eliminating the frustrations of running out of charge, or scrambling looking for a place to recharge your devices.
