The PSVita is certainly shaping up to be the console for music fans. Launching on February 14th (a perfect Valentines gift, perhaps?) Lumines Electronic Symphony features 33 licensed tracks, including some amazing tracks like Aphex Twin's Windowlicker and Mark Ronson & The Business Intl.'s Bang Bang Bang.

The full list of tracks:

  • “4 AM” – Kaskade
  • “Aganju” – Bebel Gilberto
  • “Always Loved A Film” – Underworld
  • “Apollo Throwdown” – The Go! Team

  • “Yesterday, When I Was Mad (Jam & Spoon Mix)” – Pet Shop Boys

Along with these songs, Q Entertainment has also composed 10 unique songs for the game. Oh, and there's one wee quirk particularly notable if you are most excited by that Orbital track: Never only plays during the menu portions of the game.

I'll admit it: I haven't been that into Lumines basically... ever? I played it pretty extensively on XBLA but could never quite get excited by it. The track listing here though is... something else. The game also features "an all-new 3D graphics engine, a new XP system and social experience that utilizes PlayStation Vita handheld entertainment system capabilities to the fullest."

Lumines: Electronic Symphony launches on February 14th for $39.99 in stores (including Future Shop, of course) but throught that interesting quirk of the Vita, will also be available on PSN for $35.99. A small saving, but you don't get a box on your shelf.
