So you’ve got an iPhone, iPad or iPod full of all sorts of multimedia but that little screen doesn’t always cut it. Sure you’ve got options for getting that stuff on to your HDTV, computer, etc. One of the more interesting options I’ve checked out is Epsons Megaplex MG-850HD Projector.
You've seen projectors before but this one features a built in retractable dock that you can just slide your favorite ‘idevice’ onto. The projector makes is surprisingly easy and convenient to exhibit your videos and photos with 2 800 glorious Lumens of 720p power.
The on-board software interfaces directly with your gadget to pull your media and it runs as seamlessly as you could want. There are 10 watt speakers built in which work well to make this a decent all in one theatre-in-a-box. Its got decent volume and you won’t be complaining about audio quality in general.

The projector has all the other inputs you might hope for; composite, component and HDMI of course. That's not unique to this projector. Neither is the fact that it lets you dock your idevice directly, frankly. But the combination of features, including the high quality of this unit make it easy and impressive to turn any random stretch of wall into your next theatre.
Overall this is a great projector choice for a home theatre situation. It may be overkill if you’re in an office and just putting up PowerPoint presentations but if you’re looking for something to give you a one-stop multimedia theatre, this one is worth checking out.
